Reds sign all 8 arbitration-eligible players to 1-year deals

The Cincinnati Reds announced Thursday that the team signed all eight of the arbitration-eligible players on its roster to one-year deals.

Among the eight players to agree to one-year deals are three of the players added via trade this offseason — right-hander Brady Singer, infielder/outfielder Gavin Lux and catcher Jose Trevino. Singer and Trevino were in their third and final year of arbitration and will be free agents after the season. Lux was arbitration-eligible for the second time.

Catcher Tyler Stephenson and outfielder Jake Fraley, both in their second year of arbitration eligibility, also signed one-year deals.

The team’s three first-year arbitration-eligible players — closer Alexis Díaz, starter Nick Lodolo and left-handed reliever Sam Moll — signed one-year deals.
