Our engineers are focused on solving problems with code.\n* Mission-driven, full stop – We work with amazing organizations, non-profits, and charities doing good all over the world.\n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n* Contributes to building Givebutter’s products\n* Performs peer code reviews, ensuring that code meets acceptance criteria, adheres to our code guidelines and follows engineering best practices\n* Works closely with the design team using Figma to build out components and features\n* Takes initiative in outlining engineering approach and collaborating with the backend, design, and product teams to execute features\n* Takes ownership of managing bugs, documentation, and knowledge base. Works closely with the Frontend team lead to define code standards and mentor other team members\n* Contributes to the improvement engineering standards, deployment infrastructure, performance, testing, and code quality\n\n\n\nRequirements\n* 5+ years of Engineering experience working in house to build web applications\n* 3+ years of experience using React, React Native, React hooks, and Typescript\n* Proven experience building accessible applications (a11y)\n* Familiar with deploying code in an automated pipeline\n* Experience debugging code and applications in production\n* Experience writing tests: unit and/or integration tests\n* Knowledge of React Query, React Hook Form, Tailwind CSS, or Zustand is a plus\n* Experience with Laravel or Svelte is a plus\n\n\n\n\n\n$130,000 – $150,000 a yearThis role will also offer an annual OKR bonus and equity. \n\nBenefits\nRemote Work: Work from anywhere in the United States.\nHealth Insurance: We offer Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance covered 100% for employees as well as HSA and FSA accounts.\nMental Health: Givebutter health insurance plans come with access to a TalkSpace membership.\n401k: We offer access to a retirement planning account for all employees.\nVacation and Holiday: Take up to 15 days of paid vacation time per year plus additional days per year with the company.
