Wolverhampton Wanderers have parted company with set-piece coach Jack Wilson after just seven league games at Molineux.
The Scot joined Wolves in the summer from Manchester City, where he worked as a set-piece analyst. Prior to his position at City, he held the role of first-team performance analyst at Brentford for two years.
However, just more than three months into his tenure, Wolves decided that the dynamics within the coaching staff were not working as expected, leading to his departure.

It is not anticipated Wilson will be replaced in the short-term, with Gary O’Neil’s coaching team, led by first-team coach Shaun Derry and goalkeeping coach Neil Cutler, likely to regain the set-piece responsibility that they held last season.
Wilson’s departure comes after Wolves struggled at set-pieces on occasions this season, most notably in Saturday’s 5-3 defeat at Brentford. O’Neil’s side are bottom of the Premier League with just one point from seven games.
